  • I earned a Master’s degree in Education in 2019 after publishing my thesis on reducing stress in traditional learning environments.

  • I lived in France for 3 years and have traveled to over a dozen other countries across the world.

  • After working in brick & mortar education for 4 years, and e-learning for 2 years, I transitioned into designing learning experiences and solutions. I have designed learning solutions for medical companies, insurance companies, and nonprofit organizations.

My Process

ADDIE serves as my theoretical foundation in developing e-learning solutions, but this model gives us no help in the actual design phase of development. In practice, Action Mapping as developed by Cathy Moore is far more effective as an on-the-ground strategic framework. While a lot of e-learning focuses on knowledge acquisition, my approach is action-based, and any knowledge and/or skill acquisition is framed in terms of our guiding question:

What do we want the learner to be able to do after completing this program?
